If Jesus died for our sins, why do people still go to hell for their sins?

How do you know you're going to heaven? How can anyone be confident about their salvation?

Why does salvation seem to depend on believing the right thing rather than simply being a good person?

How can God be all-loving, all-knowing, and all-powerful while still allowing people to go to hell?

How is it fair for people to be required to choose God when many people struggle to believe because of their circumstances?
